The ski season lasts from October to May thanks to the local climate and height at 1816 meters on sea level.

With more than 100km of ski slopes, Livigno has two main skiing areas: Carosello 3000 and Mottolino.

From the Chalet Matteo, you can easily get to the San Rocco slope, directly linked with the entire Carosello 3000 mountainside.

To get to the Mottolino side, you can get a free bus stopping just in front of the Chalet Matteo.

Snow is guaranteed also through snow-making equipment covering more than 70% of the entire skiing area.
